OK, so I had stopped watching Prison Break somewhere around the end of Season 2 — I was frustrated and annoyed with all of the deaths and I no longer believed that saving Lincoln was worth all of that. However, when I saw some clips from the finale, with all of the Michael/Sara action, I got intrigued again and decided to watch Season 3.
I made it maybe 3 episodes before reading about what they were planning to do to Dr. Sara. I swore I’d never watch it again and I even refrained from watching my Season 1 DVDs.
Well, I held out throughout the whole season, but now I’ve read some spoilers for Season 4, and if you read spoilers, you know which ones I’m talking about. Suffice it to say, I’ll be tuning in. So, I’ve been watching Season 1 with my sister’s boyfriend (who has never seen it and is now obsessed), and I’ve gotten newly excited about Michale and Sara.
My point? You can probably expect some new Michael/Sara icons some time soonish. And here’s an awesome music video I just found, set to one of my new favorite songs, “Stop and Stare” by One Republic:
Other projects I’m working on? Two new music videos:
Heroes – Peter/Claire – “Apologize”
I’m trying out some new stuff, so it’s taking me longer than usual. I keep changing my mind and having to go back and do some stuff over again. It’s a slow work-in-progress. I chose “Apologize” more because of it’s sound and beats, rather than lyrics, though I will of course be working those in, as well.
Twilight – Jasper, Jasper/Alice – “Streets of Philadelphia”
I’m basically telling Jasper’s story (Eclipse, Ch. 13 – Newborns) and showing how much he has struggled in his life. I prefer to use the actual actors, but due to sever scene shortages, I’m being forced to look elsewhere. I’m going to try to disguise the non-Jackson/Ashley scenes as much as possible, though.
I chose “Streets of Philadelphia” because of the obvious significance the city has to Jasper and Alice’s story, but also because the lyrics highlight some of Jasper’s struggles and fears, particularly in his new life as a Cullen.
“Streets of Philadelphia” Lyrics:
I was bruised and battered I couldn't tell what I felt I was unrecognizable to myself I saw my reflection in a window I didn't know my own face Oh Brother are you gonna leave me wastin' away On the streets of Philadelphia I walked the avenue 'til my legs felt like stone I heard the voices of friends vanished and gone At night I could hear the blood in my veins Black and whispering as the rain On the streets of Philadelphia Ain't no angel gonna greet me It's just you and I my friend My clothes don't fit me no more I walked a thousand miles Just to slip this skin The night has fallen, I'm lyin' awake I can feel myself fading away So receive me brother with your faithless kiss Or will we leave each other alone like this On the streets of Philadelphia
